Pulseway Dashboard gives you the possibility of monitoring workstations and servers remotely. By itself, the software doesn't do much, but if used together with Pulseway Manager, it will notify you of almost anything that is happening on the monitored computers. The software is an excellent means of keeping an eye on critical system components remotely, due to its user friendly design and to its straightforward functionality.

Pulseway Dashboard is available for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux and it is offered free of charge. It can be installed in under a minute, without any effort. Its hardware requirements are modest and it doesn't ask for any supplementary tools or services.

When you run the application for the first time, you will have to use your Pulseway login credentials. If you have Pulseway Manager installed on one or more computers, they will appear on Pulseway Dashboard's interface immediately. Monitored machines are displayed as color-coded orbs, accompanied by their names, operating systems and current status (online, offline or maintenance).

Each orb will have a different color, if its corresponding machine is working properly or if it has minor or critical issues that need your attention. Also, new notifications messages will be displayed in the lower region of the interface. This makes it quite easy to figure out what happened and where. Clicking one of the listed computers will display a full log of all received notifications for that computer.

Computers which have Pulseway Manager installed can be monitored from a web-based user interface as well. The web interface provides a few extra options, for adding notes, waking up computers, for generating reports and more. Also, as mentioned in Pulseway Manager's review, notifications can be received on mobile devices as well.

Pros

The software can receive all sorts of notifications, from a large number of monitored computers. It lets you view notifications for each computer separately or all notifications together. Received notifications are easy to spot and easy to understand.

Cons

Pulseway Dashboard doesn't come with too many controls. With Pulseway Dashboard, you will be able to know if one or more remote computers are working properly or not, without having to get up from your desk.
